RosterGrid Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This policy covers the RosterGrid app for Android (package com.appburst.rostergrid), published by AppBurst ("we", "us"). The short version: RosterGrid has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and what you do in the app stays on your device.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect, receive or store any personal information through RosterGrid. The app has no sign-in, does not ask for your name, email address, contacts or location, and does not send your activity to us or to anyone else. It works without an internet connection.

2. Information stored on your device

To work, the app saves the following in its own local storage on your device:

  • The players you have entered for the current grid and your number of misses
  • Your current streak, best streak and the number of grids you have completed

This information never leaves your device, and the app is excluded from Android cloud backup. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app’s storage in your Android settings or by uninstalling the app.

3. Football data in the app

The player and club information used for the quiz ships inside the app. It comes from an open football dataset released under the CC0 licence. Looking up a player happens on your device; your searches are not sent anywhere.

4. Notifications

If you allow notifications, RosterGrid schedules one reminder a day to tell you that the new grid is ready. The reminder is created and delivered by your device itself. We do not run a push notification service for this app and do not receive a device identifier or push token. You can turn the reminder off at any time in your Android notification settings.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your information, because we do not have it. If you choose to share something from the app, the text is handed to the Android share sheet and goes only to the app you pick.

6. Third-party services

RosterGrid contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software. The app is distributed through Google Play, which may collect information about installs, crashes and purchases under the Google Privacy Policy. This website, where you are reading the policy, has its own privacy policy.

7. Children

RosterGrid does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data from the app, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf; you control everything on your own device. If you contact us by email we will use your address only to reply, and you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.

9. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches you.

10. Contact
