This policy covers the Wordkin app for Android, published by AppBurst ("we", "us"). The short version: Wordkin has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no game server. The card deals are made and played on your own device, and nothing about you or your games is sent to us.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect, receive or store any personal information through Wordkin. The app does not ask for your name, email address, contacts or location, and it does not send your activity anywhere. The whole game, including dealing the cards and the hints, runs on your device and works without an internet connection.
2. Information stored on your device
To work, Wordkin saves the following in its own storage on your device:
- The deal in progress and the daily deal in progress, so you can continue later
- Your settings (sound, vibration, larger words, the language of the words)
- Your progress and statistics, such as the deals cleared, your best move counts and your daily streak
This information is not sent to us. If you have turned on Android's backup to your Google account, Android may include it in that backup so it can come back on a new phone; we have no access to those backups. You can delete everything by clearing the app's storage in your Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
3. Ratings and sharing
After you have cleared some deals, Wordkin may ask Google Play to show its rating window. That window is part of Google Play: if you rate or review the app there, Google handles it under the Google Privacy Policy, and we only see what is published on Google Play. If you share your daily result, the text is handed to the Android share sheet and goes only to the app you pick.
4. Permissions
The app uses vibration for haptic feedback, which you can turn off in the app's settings. Its Android package includes network access, but gameplay does not send data over the network. When you tap an external link, such as this policy, it opens in your browser. The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location or notifications.
5. Third-party services
Wordkin contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software. The app is distributed through Google Play, which may collect information about installs and crashes under the Google Privacy Policy. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages; see this website's privacy policy.
6. Children
Wordkin is not directed at children under 13, and it does not collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data from Wordkin, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf; you control everything on your own device. If you contact us by email we will use your address only to reply, and you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
If Wordkin changes in a way that affects this policy (for example, if a future version shows ads), we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches you.
